Drawing & Forming

Quakerdraw 40 AC

This product is a blend of highly refined polar lubricants and petroleum fractions in combination with specially prepared extreme pressure lubricants. It provides high performance and maximum die-life on exceptionally severe forming operations involving all types of steels and special alloys. It contains a complete emulsifier system and will provide exceptional performance on high speed stamping operations when dispersed in one to five parts of water.

Quakerdraw 61 MAL HCL 1

This product is a medium viscosity, chlorine-free, moderate-duty stamping and drawing oil. It can be used for blanking, piercing, stamping, and drawing of cold rolled stainless steels and aluminum alloys.

Quakerdraw 61 K2M

This product is a multi-purpose, blank washing, blanking, stamping, and light-duty drawing lubricant. It is a lubricant-rust preventive that is designed to be applied to cold rolled and galvanized sheet steel and/or blanks in any of the above operations.

Quakerdraw CH 2000

This product is formulated specifically for cold forging and heading lubrication. It offers high-performance without the use of chlorine and has been designed for use with both regular and alloy-coated tooling. This product is suitable for multiple stage operations.

Quakerdraw 58 BF

This product is barium-free, water-dilutable forming lubricant consisting of Quaker's proprietary ester lubricant, extreme pressure and anti-wear agents in a combination with organic corrosion inhibitors. It is a multi-functional fluid designed for use on severe, high speed punching and/or forming operations where previously only high performance, chlorinated extreme pressure oils or emulsifiable mineral oil based products would work. This product is recommended for use on a cold rolled steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum.

Eco Draw® HVE1

Mid-State's most general purpose synthetic lubricant. This product is automotive approved. It contains EP additives to provide exceptional tooling protection. It mixes easily with water to form a stable solution. Its micro residue is tenacious enough to carry through transfer and prog die stations, but light enough to eliminate press site and handling messes.

Eco Draw® LCP75

Mid-State's heavy duty synthetic lubricant. This synthetic lubricant utilizes a complex polymer system and additional extreme pressure additives. Eco Draw® LCP75 is an ideal replacement for chlorinated paraffin oils. It provides a tenacious residue that protects parts and tooling in severe operations.

Eco Draw® HVPX

A heavy duty synthetic lubricant specifically formulated for heavy gauge deep draw operations. It is particularly effective for use on lawn mower decks, oil pans, grill hoods, etc. Eco Draw® HVPX provides a very tenacious residue even when applied with high tension rollers. The residue is prevalent but easily removed in standard cleaning systems.

Liqui Cote

Liqui Cote is a unique, dry film, non-petroleum lubricant which is applied to metal and dried to form a tough dry film for severe drawing operations. It provides maximum metal die separation and is used at 10 to 90% with water at 140° to 180°F. Coating weight is determined by water dilution. Easily cleaned in spray or soak operations. Provides good in-plant rust protection. Concentration is controlled with a refractometer.

Poly Cote Perma 2

Poly Cote Perma 2 is a permanent dry-film that provides excellent boundary protection in severe draws. The film does not flake or chip and is resistant to fuels, solvents, alkali, etc. This product does not require cleaning prior to assembly.

Hydro Cote GM2

Hydro Cote GM2 is a resilient dry film that provides excellent boundary protection in severe draws. Water will not degrade the film so it is excellent for use in hydroforming. The film is removed by standard alkaline cleaners.
